Program

VDAT2009 consists of full-day tutorials on July 8, 2009 , and the Symposium with technical paper presentation, keynote & invited talks, panel discussions, research scholar forum etc., during July 9-10, 2009. Both need separate registration. Please refer tutorial details and mention the tutorial you wish to attend. Download Advance technical program PDF 320KB (includes VDAT2009 Registration form).

Any one interested in VLSI and related fields can register to attend VDAT Symposium. Registration details and tariff are shown below. Please intimate online with full details, and also send the filled-hardcopy of the Registration form (PDF 120KB) to the VDAT2009 Finance chair. If the DD is made out (dated) on or before the deadline, and reaches us slightly late, it would be considered as before-deadline registration.

Registration Tariff

Payment mode

Indian participants to pay through a Demand Draft (DD), or Cash-at-par Bank cheques made out to VDAT Symposium 2009, payable at Bangalore. On the rear-side of DD, please write your name and the events you are attending, e.g. Symposium, or Symposium & Tutorial-1 etc., Foreign participants can pay through an International Money Order with bank charges if any added.

Online intimation

Payment must be accompanied by the hardcopy of filled regn form. You must also submit an online entry compulsorily for faster processing, coordination with Finance Chair & registration counter, and payment acknowledgement. Hardcopy can be prepared two ways: Printout the Registration form in PDF to manually fill-in, or Submit the online form, and copy the output to generate a printout.

For spot-registration, follow the same procedure, and enter N.A. under payment details. Only DD or cash are accepted.

Bulk Registration

We will offer one complimentary registration for every five registrations received from the same organization. All the six names should be registered with full details quoting the same DD details. Authors of accepted papers may also be included.

Spot Registration

Only cash or DD is accepted for spot-registration, and the online intimation with full details is compulsory to notify the authorities on all participants.

Categories

Author of a selected paper/s: At least one author from each selected paper must register before the deadline. If the same author is to present more than one selected paper, a separate registration for each is required. All registered authors must attend to present their papers. Those not abiding will not be entertained subsequently. A letter from VLSI Society of India can be provided to authors on request confirming their accepted paper to seek official permission.
Fellowship: VDAT 2009 will offer a fellowship (lowered registration fee) to all Indian students, faculty members and Government R&D. No separate form is required to be filled out. Please follow the tariff accordingly.
Student: One should be a Student for the current year and must attach a photocopy of the College credentials/ ID issued by the college along with the payment.
Participants: All others, other than authors.

All authors must register through the Author Link before the deadline, and others through the Participants link. You may also apply for VSI Membership along with VDAT registration to avail discounted rates. Please send separate payment for each. Please enter Applied for Membership in place of the VSI membership number in the VDAT2009 registration form.
